  • Q: Can I test your service before signing up?
    A:

    You must open an account (free) to test the service. If you select the "Essential A La Carte" calling plan, it will allow you to make outgoing calls and charge you for your usage. You are required to add funds to your account to activate the plan.

    There is no commitment/contract to sign. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied (we will refund any remaining unused funds above $5).

    Please note that we operate on a prepaid basis, and you must have funds available to your account in order to make calls.
  • Q: Owner of DID number
    A:

    All phone numbers purchased or ported with us remains the sole property of the customer unless you cancel it.

    When porting numbers, we are required to identify the owner of the account and/or phone numbers to avoid fraudulent activity. You are required to provide the owner name.

    Be sure to contact our team to advise us of any steps taken to move in or out of your phone numbers. Also make sure that your account balance has the necessary funds to allow for the porting process.

  • Q: Mail2Fax (Email to Fax) - User Guide

    Please make sure the following prerequisite have been done:

    1. A fax profile has been created and configured [ See FAQ ]

    A - Add your email to the "Allowed email addresses"

    1. Login to your client account.
       
    2. Access "Virtual Fax" in the "Services" section, via the main menu.
       
    3. Click on the "Modify" button on the profile you wish to edit.
       
    4. Click on the tab "Outbound".
       
    5. Enter your email in the "Email address" box to the right of the screen.
       
    6. Click "Add to list".
      If you want to authorize the whole company domain, you can use the following format: *@domain.com.
       
    7. Click "Save".
       

    B - Sending a fax from your email

    1. Open your email client.
       
    2. Click "New" to create an email.
       
    3. In the "To" enter the number of your recipient using the following format:

      REPLACE_WITH_FAX_NUMBER@fax.voicemeup.com

      For 1 recipient: 15553219876@fax.voicemeup.com
      For multi-recipient:
       15553219876@fax.voicemeup.com,14383219876@fax.voicemeup.com
       
    4. Insert your attachment and/or write an email.
       
    5. When done, click on "Send" to send your email to the fax (i.e. Mail2Fax).
       
    NOTE
    A valid fax number has to be composed of at least 11 digits (from 0 to 9). North-American numbers must be preceded by a "1" and International Number must be preceded by "011".
     

    C- Validate that your fax was sent

    1. Login to your client account.
       
    2. Access "Fax Transmissions" in the History" section, via the main menu.
      The list displays the current month's transmissions and their status.
       
    IMPORTANT
    • No limit to the number of files attached.
    • Maximum email size is 40 MB.
  • Q: Do we provide residential services?
    A:

    Yes, but the person must have some technical knowledge and be able to follow procedures to configure their phone and router.

  • Q: What is Fax2Mail?
    A:

    Fax2Mail is a service that enables a faxed document to be received by email. The document is faxed as usual, but an electronic copy of the document is received as an email attachment.
