  • Q: Adding a virtual attendant / IVR

    What is an interactive virtual attendant?
    An Interactive virtual attendant allows customers to interact with a company’s automated host system via a telephone keypad and connects customers to the right department or representatives. 


    Please make sure the following prerequisites have been done:

    • You have recorded media files available in your account. [ See FAQ ] 
    • We highly suggest you plan your IVR call flow in advance and have our team review it for you.

    To add a virtual attendant / IVR, access your account and follow these steps:

    1. Access "Virtual Attendant / IVR" in the "PBX Cloud" section, via the main menu.
       
    2. Click on the "New" button. You will be prompted to accept the charges, if applicable.
       
    3. Insert a "Friendly Name" to label your new entry.
       
    4. Select a "Sub-Account", if applicable.
       
    5. Follow the steps below to configure the IVR:
  • Q: Adding a virtual fax profile
    A:

    What is virtual fax?
    The Virtual Fax feature is used to send and receive faxes service using a DID number specifically dedicated to Fax.


    To set up a virtual fax, please make sure the following prerequisites have been done:

    1. You have an active DID number (a phone number) that supports Fax (T.38 protocol) in your account.
      OR
    2. You need to order a phone number for your virtual fax. You can do so here.
  • Q: Perform a connection quality test from a mobile device.

    You will need to download the mobile application "MyConnection by Visualware".

    The mobile application allows you to do the test on a cell phone for both a Wi-Fi connection or on a LTE/4G connection.

  • Q: Creating a voice mailbox

    Please make sure the following prerequisite has been done:

    • You have media files available in your account. [ See FAQ ] 

    To add voice mailbox, access your account and follow these steps:

    1. Access "Voice Mailboxes" in the "PBX Cloud" section, via the main menu.
       
    2. Click on the "New" button. You will be prompted to accept the charges, if applicable.
       
    3. Insert a "Friendly Name" to label your new entry.
       
    4. Select a "Sub-Account", if applicable.
       
    5. Follow the steps below to configure the voicemail settings:
  • Q: What is "Announce to Callee"?

    This is a message played to the callee once the call is answered and before the caller is connected.
